My name is Matteo Mariani (aka Rouge) and I founded Nuages Rouges in 2018, in the heart of the Riviera Romagnola, the land where I grew up and which continues to inspire all my creations. My Italian brand was born from a conceptual vision, from years of study and dedication to the world of fashion and luxury. My collections are entirely handmade in Italy, with obsessive attention to every detail. I choose only the finest materials, especially Como silk, a textile excellence recognized worldwide. In over nine years of experience, I have learned that true quality is born in modeling and prototype construction.
I create clothing and accessories designed for moments of leisure and entertainment, without ever sacrificing refinement, personality, and a well-defined stylistic identity. Each piece tells the story of my Riviera, my experiences, my way of seeing the world. For me, Made in Italy is not just a label, it is an ecosystem of values, made of tradition, passion, and skilled hands. The mission, beyond restoring aesthetes, is to honor Italian craftsmanship, promoting superior fashion that speaks the language of our culture and our know-how.

I started by collaborating with local boutiques, then came showrooms in Rimini and Milan, until I opened my first single-brand pop-up store in Forlì and organized three fashion shows. I've had the pleasure of working alongside renowned venues on the Romagna Riviera and so many wonderful people. Nuages Rouges has grown, and with it, my community.
